What we do at Storyville Montessori
Our Core Objective is to develop independent, cooperative, enthusiastic and curious children. This we achieve
through our fun, child-centered curriculum and teaching style. Our curriculum is child-centred and fun. We
guide them to have a keen interest in the world.
Fact: One of the basic principles of a Montessori education is freedom within limits. Children learn best
through self-directed learning; Montessori children are given more freedom of choice than in traditional
settings. Montessori schools also follow a curriculum, with specific materials and activities where teachers
prepare the learning environment and provide the necessary structure, support and feedback.
Our school is led by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic teachers that strive to prepare each individual
child for a successful future. We believe in guiding our children to become confident and independent,
instilling in them a sense of high self-worth and esteem. We are committed to teaching the whole child – emotionally, socially, intellectually, physically and spiritually
All daily routines/programmes are set to give the child a sense of security and belonging. Each class has a
daily programme that is child-centred and age-appropriate.
